Locate the OBD Port:

The OBD port in your vehicle is typically located beneath the dashboard, usually near the driver's seat. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual to find the exact location of the OBD port.

Turn off Your Vehicle:

Before you begin, it's essential to turn off your vehicle and remove the key from the ignition to prevent any electrical issues.

Connect the OBD Power Cable:

Plug one end of the OBD Power Cable into the OBD port of your vehicle. Ensure that the cable is securely connected.

Connect the Dashcam:

The other end of the OBD Power Cable should have a connector designed for your Stingray dashcam. Plug it into your dashcam. Make sure the connection is secure.

Test the Setup:

Turn on your vehicle and verify that the dashcam powers up and functions correctly. Some dashcams may have a specific setup process, so consult your dashcam's user manual for any configuration steps.

By connecting your Stingray dashcam to an OBD Power Cable Plug-n-Play, you ensure a simple and reliable power source for your device. This method eliminates the need for extensive wiring and professional installation, making it an excellent choice for those who want a hassle-free dashcam setup. With your dashcam now securely connected, you can drive with confidence, knowing that your vehicle's journey is being recorded and ready to provide valuable footage when needed.
