How to set a device to recovery mode in FleetONE

Modified on Tue, 18 Mar at 1:21 PM

Introduction:

A feature of many of our devices is "Recovery Mode," which enables your tracker to send a signal every 30 seconds while in motion. This feature is beneficial for monitoring your tracker in the event of theft or if the device is lost. If you possess a battery-operated device that is not linked to an external power source and lacks this feature, please reach out to Lonestar Tracking support for assistance regarding theft or a lost device.

Follow this step-by-step guide to enable "Recovery Mode".

1. Click on the device you would like to set to recovery mode

2. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find ''Select Command'' - Select Enable Recovery Mode

3. Click send command - Your device will begin to report every 30 seconds on its next report.

*****Remember you will need to repeat the steps to disable recovery mode after you have recovered your asset/device or it will continue to report every 30 seconds which is big strain on the battery of the device.
