Are the batteries replaceable and what type of battery is needed?

Our wireless temperature sensors are designed to be durable and reliable, with a lifespan of up to 10 years. However, if the battery does happen to die earlier than expected, customers can easily replace it themselves by opening the back cover of the sensor.

To replace the battery, simply unscrew the two screws located on the back of the sensor to remove the cover. Inside, you will find a general CR17450 battery, which can be replaced with any brand of battery that meets this specification.

Replacing the battery in this way is a simple and cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of your wireless temperature sensors and ensure that they continue to provide accurate temperature readings over time.

However, we do recommend that customers exercise caution when handling the sensors and follow proper safety protocols when replacing the battery to avoid any risk of injury or damage to the device.
